The chart at right reflects the “borrowerHelp Consumer Alert Score,” which we have developed to provide borrowers with guidance about the risks associated with having their loan serviced and the level of vigilance required to protect themselves. The score ranges from 0 (zero) to 400 with 0 representing reasonably expected behavior and 400 being ruthlessly predatory as well as being heavily involved in consumer litigation. Note that AMC is not shown as a result of the number of loan originating (predatory lending) issues with its parent, Ameriquest. In addition, extricating the relatively new servicing division’s litigation history is impractical for the time being. |
